  HOME DESIGN WORKSHOP
Develop your own remodel, addition or house design under the direction of an experienced architect/general contractor.
We follow the same process that an architect uses to design a project from the start. The first part of each session includes a lecture covering the fundamentals of quality home design along with exercises which sharpen your problem-solving skills. The second part consists of a review of each student's project and guidance on to the next stage of development. Having a set of as-built floor plans (for remodels and/or additions) or a site plan (for new construction projects) is recommended. Students should be prepared to spend eight to 12 hours per week outside of class to complete customized homework assignments. Limited to eight students.
